Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension
Toyota’s available rear air suspension replaces the standard rear coil springs with air springs. The system automatically adjusts air pressure to help maintain the truck’s ride height when passengers, cargo, or a trailer add weight. It also allows the driver to raise or lower the rear of the truck using the height controls. This lowering kit is designed ONLY for Tundra models equipped with this factory rear air suspension.
Non AVS vs. Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS)
Tundra's with rear air suspension may have Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). If you are unsure what suspension type your Tundra is, you can check your front struts.
- Non AVS: No wires coming out of the front struts.
- Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS): A visible wire coming out of the top of each front strut (see picture for reference).
We use different size sleeves for each suspension type, so confirming this ensures you will recieve the correct parts.
